Darko Kovačević, Ph.D.
Born on 16th December 1954. in Zagreb where finished primar and grammar school. Finished Faculty of Medicine in Zagreb in 1981. Working in Emergency Medical Service in Čakovec and Zagreb for two years. After this period, starting private praxis in Zagreb up today. Postgraduate degree in Diving Medicine in 1984, class prof Stracimir Gošović and Ultrasound and Doppler, class prof. Drinković. Asocciate Professor in Croatian Olimpic Academy and University of Kinesiology in Zagreb. 15 years member of Executive Board of Croatian Diving Federation and President of Medical Committe. Active participation for past 30 years in diving education and evaluation of divers of all categories. National Director DAN Europe Croatia since founding.
